  • Dear Dr. Stead,

I very much enjoyed listening to this podcast. My name is Victoria and I am currently working on my MA dissertation on pub culture, and conflicts within Temperance Chartism within contemporary journalism and literature of the time, including Alton Locke. Would I be able to obtain a transcript of this podcast to potentially reference in my work?

    Warm regards,
    Victoria Clarke

    • Dear Victoria,

Pleased to meet you. I’m glad you enjoyed Edith’s podcast. Your research sounds fascinating! Why don’t you write us a guest encounter? (email for more details). For your dissertation, you’re very welcome to refer to the podcast itself. There’s no problem doing that, since it’s not going anywhere. You might be waiting a while for a transcript, you see. Probably quicker just to form your own selective one from the web video. You can use the URL of the web video, or URL of the C&C page, as your reference.

      Enjoy your research!

      Henry
